Family Support
This service provides you with your own friendly and experienced family practitioner (usually a qualified counsellor or social worker). The family practitioner role is to help work through and resolve the issues you are facing. Things we regularly support people to deal with include, parenting or relationship issues, feeling isolated or down and, a very wide range of other concerns.
Your family practitioner can meet you in your own home, at our office in Warkworth, over zoom or on the phone. We usually meet people once a week and work with people during school/work hours. This service is available to anyone living in the North Rodney area with a child 18 years or younger in their care.
The Family Support service is very flexible, some people may see their worker 2- or 3-times others may see their worker 10 times or more. The role of our family practitioner is to help you make the changes you want for yourself and your family, not to tell you what to do.
